Jeffrey H. Coats
President & CEO, Board Member

Jeffrey Coats has been President and CEO of Mikronite since February 2002. Since August 2001, he has also been Managing Director of Maverick Associates LLC, a financial consulting and investment company.

From July 1999 to July 2001, Mr. Coats was a Founder and Managing Director of TH Lee Global Internet Managers, L.P., a fund focused on making equity investments in eCommerce and Internet-related companies globally. He remains a limited partner of the fund. From April 1996 to July 1999, he served as Managing Director of GE Equity, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Electric Capital Corporation. He led GE Equity’s Consumer Group, which included strategic and financial investments in the Internet, eCommerce, media and entertainment, retail and consumer products and services. Many of these investments were made in conjunction with other GE operating subsidiaries, including NBC, GE Lighting and GE Appliances. Mr. Coats has also held various positions, including as Managing Director, of GE Capital Corporate Finance Group, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Electric Capital Corporation, from June 1987 to April 1993. From May 1993 to April 1996, he was a partner in two separate private investment firms. Before joining GE Capital, Mr. Coats spent 6.5 years with Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago, initially as a political analyst and country credit officer for various Middle Eastern countries and finally as a corporate banker handling various general, financial services and entertainment companies in Los Angeles.

Mr. Coats holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management. He is a member of the board of directors of Autobytel, Inc., a publicly traded company, as well as Fuel Outdoor, LLC.

Steve E. Hoffman
Founder, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Chairman of the Board

Steve Hoffman attended New York University and Rutgers University with a concentration in mechanical engineering from 1980 to 1984 and continued his studies directly with the chairman of the physics department at the University of Michigan specializing in physics and electro-optics.

Mr. Hoffman is the recipient of numerous patents and is known and well respected in the fields of robotics, automation, electro-optics and lasers. He oversees all technical aspects of Mikronite’s implementation of proprietary technology.

Michael S. Demurjian
Founder, Vice President of Sales, Board Member

Michael Demurjian has been Vice President of Sales since 1999. From 1990 to 1998, he was an investor in, and/or developer of, various properties including Martell’s, the oldest restaurant and bar in the Yorkville section of Manhattan and various renovation projects in Manhattan’s Uptown Empowerment Zone.

From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Demurjian was a member of the Detroit Lions team of the National Football League. He received a BA in Economics from New York University in 1986.

Robert Bringard
Consultant

Robert Bringard is responsible for application and technical engineering support for MIKRONITE technology. He has accumulated experience with various types of commercial and industrial cutting tool equipment, including the MIKRONITE machinery since the inception of the technology.

At one of Mikronite’s predecessors, RCB, Inc., Mr. Bringard was both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technical Officer. He was also a Technical Manager at Osteonics.

Charles P. Mataya
Consultant

Charles P. Mataya has over 20 years of diversified experience in the field of accounting and finance. Prior to joining Mikronite, he was Corporate Controller for Omni Facility Services, Inc, a $150 million facilities maintenance company with locations throughout the United States. Previous Controllership and related roles have provided broad experience with financial systems, initial public offerings, SEC reporting, financial/management reporting, Treasury management, and mergers and acquisitions at ReGenesis, LLC (formerly Creative Products Resource, Inc.), Paco Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. Digital Solutions, Inc., Ronson Corporation, and Guest Supply, Inc.

Mr. Mataya holds a BBA from Rider University, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He is also a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
